I'm trying to open my Logitech Elite Wireless keyboard: ... nguageid=1

to put some LEDs in it, and I reach a point where there are thin plastic strips with copper wires running through them attaching to a plastic piece on the circuit board (the signal from the keyboard keys going to the circuit board). I can't get to the circuit board without removing these "wires", because the key chassis has to be removed to get to the circuit board, and the key chassis is connected to these plastic strips with the copper wires (don't know the actual name).

I don't know how to safely disconnect these "wires", and therefore cannot get to the circuit board. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this mod on a Logitech Elite Wireless keyboard, or if you have any info on how to remove these kinds of connections. (I tried wiggling it out of the circuit board, but that isn't working.)

I don't have my digital camera right now, but if no one knows what I'm talking about I'll try taking pictures and posting them. :)

Putting extra LEDs in a wireless keyboard will only drain the batteries faster.

Well...I installed the LED spotlights into my wireless system. Only I did not connect them with the batteries. I installed the LED, the switch and the wires that had to be connected to a battery....well...I just made an exit for them and used a 9v battery.
