First of all,hi to everyone on these boards!

I thought of something simpel.I play counter strike, and thought of a little trick. Most of the rifles there dont have a primary aim,so maybe we could mod one to the screen?I thought of using old CD cases to make the crosshair onto.I want to make the crosshair out of CD casings aswell, but i want to colour them.I saw somewhere, that someone had said, that plexiglass could be coloured by soaking them in water, that is food-coloured.Would that work? When the crosshair is ready I'm gonna make something for it to hold onto the screen.I wouder if it is ok to "cheat" in this way;)

(kinda an idiotic idea, but oh well........)

hmm... other possibility would be to use an acrylic sheet with only one hole drilled on the center. Then with leds on the side you could then change the color of the dot for different maps. :)

Well, not stupid idea...
It has been in my mind many times :P
It could be easiest to do with a pen, just measure where is the middle of the screen and do a little cross with the pen.
Then take a gun with normal crosshair and adjust the settings of the screen, so the painted crosshair matches with the one in the game...

Just take a plexi that is 10mm thick if you want. :) Then carve the dot or a crosshair to the center of it at lit it from the side. Like with Glowpads. Then place this plexi in front of your screen.

Use a whiteboard pen. It's the easiest way. The ink can be removed with a stroke of your finger. Why complicate it? :P

hmm, i think i see what you want to do: you are mad that there's no crosshair on the AWP (when not zoomed in) and you want to correct that.
very simple.
you get a weapon that does have a crosshair (any handgun) and you put a 1mm x 1mm square of duct (or masking) tape in the center of the corsshair.

Well, I't hard to hit with AWP anyway with no zooming, but with scout the crosshair idea is very useable...
