blue for your lazer mouse would need to be bright. I'd suggest mounting two 8000mcd blue LEDs :) Also, to get a true blue through that red plastic, you'd either need to replace the red wit some wickd clear plexi or you'd be up crack creek wit a rather small paddle wit ur purple ladies mouse :P

im thinkin about changin the one in the bottom of my mouse with a green one. that way the leds on my keyboard, mouse wheel, and monitor will match.

If i change the one in the bottom of my mouse to blue then my case and my moose will match, then I'd have to spray my DIN keyboard shiny black. I'd mightaswel spray the top of my mouse shiny black then aswel. W007!

I would make yellow cause its cool, also optical mice use special leds so they know where they are (also a deterrent to mice).

that is not entirelly true...a optical mouse only uses red because it is the brightest light that is closest to the IR end of the Spectrum...for example in my logitech cordless mouseman optical i replaced the red LED with a high intensity IR led...the equivalent of 3000Mcd....the led put out no visible light an dthe mouse worked better then it did in the first place....

you can replace teh red led with any color you want...but teh farther away from teh IR end the higher the mcd rating needs to be to make up for the loss of IR

if u mod it and it doesnt work, either get a brighter LED and piggyback it (or just replace it), or yea, u could get an IR LED and replace it (or piggyback it)
