ok guys this idea came to me when i was looking thru the mod gallery, and i thought that maybe, if u take some el or neon wire, in the seal (the electiric wire cover on the edge of the window), and put the wire in the seal so it will glow do u think it will work? :?:

it would but ya gotta have clear window molding. they sell some uv reactant window molding on pcmods or they used to.

they only got translucent molding now, no more uv reactant stuff.

my UV-reactive window moulding lights up sufficiently with my dual 12" UV ccfls beside it, and with the two blue uv-reactive LED fans. Vewy Nwice :P

well, what u could do is superglue the glow wire to the edge of the hole, (assuming that u have a big sheet and there is a design cut out. and the window panel is just held on from the inside.) then use some "GOOP". its a contact adhesive and sealant. i got it from home depot, its the same thing as shoe-goo. put that over the glow wire and the edge of the window. that way u could kinda make ur own clear molding, but it wont work if ya got a shape cut out of the case, and the window fits into the shape and needs locking molding.

well you'd have to do it very neatly, otherwise it'd just look like some quickly-strung up christmas lights on your front porch, ya know?
