Yes basically (most like *nix version because you can get it for every common *nix version and recompile it for uncommon ones

Here's one extra self-portrait, done in Gimp v1.2 two years ago. I've used Gimp for most of my post-2000 stuff, except of course the graphics done for C64 and VIC-20...

granted they are cool, but that doesnt mean it belongs here, its for stuff you have made, turn them into links instead of stealing others bandwidth. you arent hosting them yourself
