the only regulators i've been able to come up with are these:
7805 - DC REGULATOR 5V/1.5A POS.TO220
7808 - DC REGULATOR 8V/1.5A
7815 - DC REGULATOR 15V/1.0A POS.TO220
LM7912 - DC REGULATOR 12V/1.5A NEG.

I cant seem to find the 7812 anywhere.... would any of these work??

(im following Japala's guide

If you want to have that 12 volt output from the molex you should get that 7812. It shouldn't be that hard to find...

Toften, I went to a local electronic store in our place and I found several 7812 regulators. Try looking for local store in your area (you said you're looking in the net).
