Can one of these be built into a case so you don't destroy your PSU? It looks like it can, but I obviously don't have the experience with this. This site has got me excited with all these mods I can do, but I don't want to destroy the parts I have (and are costly to replace). I basically want a modded psu and a bank of pins to hook all these tight mods too.

Yep, it would be really easy to make. Just get a regulated transformer for your wall socket. Output rating should be 12 volts DC and it should be capable of supplying around 1 amp of current. This way you'll get 12 volts for you mods. If you want 5 volts, just add a 7805 regulator in parallel to that 12 volt line and you have 12 and 5 volts. hmmm.. did I just explain the whole modlab idea there?! Silly me, hehe :)
