I have created a PCB for this circuit and am selling them if anyone is interested.
The price is $10 including shipping in the USA. Add $5 for the EU.
If you want the components too add another $5.
If you are interested, please email me at:
electronics@artish.org or PM me here on these boards.

Well, the circuit I created isn't the same as one that japala posted the schematic and breadboard images of.
I modified the original "Fading Red Eyes" schematic posted by Bill Bowden:
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepage ... m#eyes.gif

This circuit board will fade one, or a series of LEDs. I set it up for a white ultra bright LED, or a series of them, but it can be easily modified by changing one resistor if a different LED or LED configuration is used.

Also, the time it took to create the PCB layout, and to produce the PCB's, and the money spent on materials, justify the $10 price tag. In actuality I probably should be charging around $20-30 if I was in it to make a profit.

So I hope that clears everything up.

People are good making money with the mods we present to them so I'm used to this. ;) nah, its a free world and I can't do anything about it but I think that meryan00 meant that they way on selling these on the site of the author of this article could be questionable. Perhaps I should one day decide whether I should start to sell pcbs etc. to all these mods because it would be so easy start to do so.

What is your schematic like then if you have modded it? I mean we have presented that one led fader a long time ago in these forums too. Doesn't take that much figuring out to take that other transistor out does it? ;)
