i'm at a technology college in the uk, and i'm being allowed to sue the micro router to try this, i also have a program that will etch a material wit a picture, i.e. i will cut deeper into the plastic for the dark parts of the picture, and not as deep for the light parts, will get pics as soon as its finished :)

Yes, our router does that too. I've only tested it once and this is what I came up with. Not really that 3d or smooth because I used a regular drill bit and the material is styrofoam. Should be easy to make stamps, molds etc. with this.

heh, cool, we got a tiny 1 that carves foam, but we got a big 1 for metals and plastics :D
