Hi guys, im trying to make a glowpad, i have all the materials including a brand new router but i cant use the bloddy thing, ive been practicing on some peices of Plexi that is about 7mm thick, but i cant get that nice clean look that all you guys seem to get, what can i do to make a better job.

Also, after i cut the edges of the Perspex/Plexi stuff, it looks pretty crappy, smooth but crappy, will extensive sanding help or is their some tool i should be using to cut it with?

any Tip'nTricks will be greatly apreciated, Thanx

i would suggest a fine sanding bit and take your time. then maybe try a buffing fabric disk thing after if your not happy with it. the key is taking your time. use these on a dremel tool

The trick to sanding plexi edges is hand sanding with 300 or 400 grit sandaper. You could always just put a rubber edge around the piece.

First I measure the block, saw it out with a hack saw and then I use a fine file, and then the bufring tools. First the gross and the fine bifring weel.
