I am wondering how the big the width on the shorter side should be. I like to conserve as much as possible. It doesn't seem to me that it has to be very thick at all. Maybe an inch? I'm not talking about the thickness of the plexi though.

Also is it necessary to bend it? I bet it would be more secure that way.

It only needs few millimeters. Bubbles won't "stick" to that window so it doesn't need that much space between those air bubbles and the walls. Bending could be a good security method.

Cool, Thanks. I'm making a mini bubbler first because I just purchased my dremel yesterday. If it turns out alright I might actually put it in my case. I'm afraid of having a big tank of water in there. I wonder if heat will mess up the caulk stuff.

This shouldn't be a problem as the heat in your tower should not get even remotely hot enough to affect the seal.
