I recently purchased a mouse that had a semi-clear see through wheel on it. Well, I happened to have recieved one of those light up pens just a few weeks earlier, and it is actually color CHANGING. So I took the LED out of the pen and put it in my mouse, so I have a wheel that goes from red to green to orange etc... I think you can get the pen at walmart or something. I highly recommend this over the plain firewheel.

My only question, is it as bright as one or two leeds? If not you could maky your own circut to do tat but it might be difficult to fit in a mouse.

I didn't have to worry about fitting it in there. I have a Microsoft mouse, and it is plenty big. And yes, It is very bright. Brighter than most LED's Iv've ever seen.

yea, those are nice, but a little annoying to put in a mouse to have the wheel change like that. could just add a switch and put it in front of the mouse, or on the side, above where ur thumb goes. or get one of those push button ones, that when its pressed its on, when its not pressed, it off. and put that directly where u put ur thumb at. Gotta make it ultra sensitive.
