Ok I have the same mouse japala used for the firewheel mod but its manufactord by compaq but still it has the chips and same bits as the logtic mouse. I just found some 1.8 Red Led's and well I tried touching it to the area were u got ur power from and my led made a hissing sound and almost went out on me. Now I dont have a voltage reader yet or some resisters/capasitors. I dont nkow what to buy if i do needm. Could you help? Ill try to find the voltage from the area were im going to drain some power from.

The specs on my led is

volts : 1.8
mA : 20
120mcd

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You should read that basic electricity for modders. From there you'll learn that you'll need a current limiting resistor. You are powering a 1.8 volt led with 5 volts so you need to sink that excess voltage to that resisitor.

It is Finnish. Metku.net is located in Finland and there are Finnish readers they like to post in Finnish. Some of them are posting in English which is nice though.
