 Post subject: about the LED

Ok.. this will be the first time I have ever done any soldering...

can you tell me what i exactly need to buy... not the solder and stuff i can get that... but a list of the things ill be doing to get the LED working...

and I dont know were to solder etc... help :oops:

Where to solder depends on the mouse you are going to use. Components that you will need are the led and proper current limiting resistor for it. If you can locate a led that has 5 volt voltage need, you don't have to use a resistor at all. A lot easier for first timer. :)

well I have done alot of soldering in school... I know how to do it etc... but I dont wanna knack this up as i wont have any help around me :(

now i dont suppose you have a tutorial on were to solder my LED.. i have a idea.. but i have seen so many diffrent ways with a microsoft mouse im confused...

you need to take the mouse feed of... tou'll find the screws under them... from there it is easy :D
