i have a kinda unusual mouse that i am hoping to mod and need help with the power - my four ps/2 wires are different colours they are -green, blue, white and orange so can some1 plz tell me which one is ground and which is +5v

also i need to know about the 'chip' in the middle i cant work out where to attach the led etc as i cant find which parts are ground etc on there

some1 plz help me with my n00bish problem :cry:

if ya got a multimeter, thats the best way to find the wires. just keep pokin around with the points. if ya dont, use an led attached to a resistor, and put the metal legs into the slots where the wires are at while the computer is on. then when ya get light, move around the mouse and clik to make sure that u got the right lines and not either of the data lines.

the "little chip" has 9 pins on each side.. it's the middel ones which are the 5V :D!
