i hope i got ur attention with the word bananas. now could some1 tell me something instead of just looking at my questions i need to know stuff. can some1 tell me, if i have say a 3v and a 2v led in a mouse would that mean i would need a resistor or not?

some1 plz plz plz help me this time!

Mixing different voltage leds on the same series is generally not a good idea. Get a proper resistor for each led and connect them in parallel so they don't affect each other.

That and putting LEDs without resistors is not recommended in general. Something about them getting destroyed methinks.

connecting two 2.5 volt leds in series inside the mouse should work. Like one of the posters said it is not that great idea to leave that resistor out even if the source and the led's rated voltages match. Just connect the leds and see how it goes. Possible over voltage/current will make the leds glow brighter and limit the working hours but there is a chance that everything will work just ok for many years.
