i painted me video and audio cards. i would like the memory to match. is this wise or will the memory become too hot.

I tried to email you but the mail just bounced back.

Anyway, if your videocard is funtioning ok it shouldn't be a problem for the memory modules either. Videomemory tend to get pretty hot too.

can you paint your motherboard too? I wanted to try this mod, and I want to paint everything almost, so, would painting the fron of the motherboard (covering the PCI and videocard slots, plus all the things you need to cover) work ok?

cover = cover with duct tape, not painting on

i would suggest masking tape over duct tape. i dont see why it should work. id say for ya to test it out on an old mobo first.

I have an old gateway motherboard with custom RAM slots...only will work with gateway parts, so I'll give that a try. Also, when I get enough money, I'm completely modding my whole computer, I'll be sure to show ya's.
