WOW, That is gonna take some decent power supply I'm sure. If I knew how to wire it I would of course post it, but that is far beyond me. I do think it might help though if you get a bit more detail about what you want to do. i understand that you want to have the 6 LED's, one for each HD, but did you want them to just be "on" all the time or only when there is activity on that drive. Were you gonna Mod your case and what is your experience level.

I am just asking that's all. When it does get done I would love to see what it looks like.

Good Luck,

Dan

If they are connected to on-board S-ata connector then you're out of luck afaik, but if they are IDE-disks then you can just make a simple wire-trick as seen here: http://www.zapwizard.com/Guides/IDE/index.html.

And to DanTheMan: HDDs generally take only about 10 Watts of power, so the consumption of even 6 disks is nothing compared to modern CPUs and GPUs.

Some IDE-drives have ready pins for activity led at the same section where you select master/slave with jumpers. With luck, all you have to do is plug leds to those pins. With no luck, you have to make the mod Jopa linked.
