We've already tested quite a few HTPC-cases, but the one we have this time still manages to stand from the crowd. It's a new product in the GMC's Noblesse-series. The difference between this case and all the earlier ones we've reviewed is that this is as slim as possible. All the HTPC-cases so far have had room for full-size PCI-cards, but that's not the case this time. The slim design has also forced the manufacturer to do some other changes to the normal layout.

Most external hard drives use 3,5" disks, and the reason is easy to see: they offer the largest capacity for the lowest price. However there are also models with 2,5" disks on the market and these have known pros compared to their larger brothers. First of all, they obviously are smaller, making it easier to keep the disk with you, especially when using a laptop. Secondly, the 2,5" disks require less power, so they produce less heat and don't need an external power supply.

Recently we have been focusing on gaming input devices. They are important but when talking about gaming, there are several other components that make or break the experience. One can't aim without a good mouse, one can't play online without proper networking hardware and connection and one can't expect to hear the enemies around the corner without proper audio equipment. We still haven't covered the CPU that runs the whole show or the monitor that gives us the view to play in. And what drives the image on the monitor?
