UV works pretty poorly if the light source is behind the object that is ment to glow. Light doesn't penetrate the object that deep and only the surface will glow so semitransparent surfaces doesn't glow that well "on the other side".

o ok,

what if the applique was behind the window, on the inner side, and u had a diffused uv lled or soemhing shining in the acrylic, surely it'd light it up somehow?

also are there any ways to diffuse led light, to spread them, say for acrylic window mods that are etched, and also to spread the light for the molex led mod?

o ok, works like the etching

i was looking for somehting that will spread the spectrum a bit more whilst keeping the clear window, i think some phones have some way of difusing the light, and other backlit devices
unless thats the nature of the smd led
