im still plannin on doin this, i looks so cool, im gonna make em removeable to, like this guy, cause i know im gonna upgrade my psu someday(soon?!?)

hmm... I think i'll do 3 pieces in 1 hour... But I had soldered things several years almost daily, so I'm quite experienced. Most of time goes to other things than soldering. You can cut plastic (LED modification) with Dremel, so it takes only few minutes.

You can buy the molex lights already built. The are called Fire Flies and Case Arts makes them. Check out the Think Geek web site under lights to see them. www.thinkgeek.com
I know it's not as much fun putting your own together, but why bugger up a plug when all you do with these is just slip them in.

it isnt hard to make them, and if you understand how the electronics work you wont screw up your psu.

those premade ones are probably ~$10, whereas doing it meself would be $.60 per led and $.20 (or less) per risistor. total cost < $10

.05 cents per resistor at lsdiodes. then from ebay, u get leds in bulk at like 50 for 10 bux.
