Is it possible to mount a led inside of a RJ-45 connector), so if data is transfered trhough the cable, it will turn blue (eg. red green yellow)


Anyone got further idea's ???

correct me if im wrong but umm, me thinks the LED would need to be of an extremely low voltage to be able to do that.

I'm no electrical guru but I think that it could be done with transistors, problem is to find small enough transisors. Or you could build a connector where you put the leds =)

There we go, it uses battery. You could integrate a battery design into the cable? Inpractical anyone?
