are the leds 5 volts or 3 volts. if theyre 3 volts, then ya need a resistor, i would say around 100 ohm for a 5 volt connection(usb).

So all I need are 3 resistors, one connected to each led? And if so i can put the leds and resistors together and then solder a wire connecting the 3 of them to the +5 v from the USB cable? Thanks, much help

you will need to wire them up in parallel to get enough power to each led. according to japala's led calculator you only need a 33ohm resistor. look at the diagramm for the "led's in parallel" to figure out ho to wire them up.
