Great mod :)
I've done it before on an xbox controller but that was my first time soldering and with and OLD soldering iron that was really unprecise it was hard and messy so when I read this one I had to try again to add a LED. Mod worked great but the LED is pretty focused and I wanted it more blured and mb a bit brighter, is there any way top brighten it without getting another LED?

You can alter the brightness by using a lower resistance resistor. This only applies if you have not exceeded the maximum current limit for that particular led.

You could try to sand the tip of the led to get the light spread a bit more but this can only do so much. And it will lower the overall brightness so...
