is that a keylock on the back panel??? that little black round thing about an inch or 2 above the fan.

Crash: yup that is a keylock tho not an electronic lock it's there to hold the back in the upward position and to prevent evil ppl from taking stuff from your pc at lans :) if you go back in the project log a little you'll see (in one of the pix which are only linnked to) that the backpanel can be opened down for easy access with that keylock (no need for "screwin around" :D ) so if anything dies it's easy to change (xept for hdds cos that is screwed directly to the front panel)

oh yea and it's not black it's chrome but it was a night shot with flash and the camera didn't bring the shine thru :) also i'm considering spraypainting that backpanel black

actually those keylock wont stop anyone.......i cna pick them w/ like 3 paper clips, and usually everyone has the same size of keys that will work any PC lock......so your parts are actualy not safe.......best to stay up all night w/ your PC, or sleep w/ it ;)

rutger: for your information that is not a pc keylock with that stupid key this has a regular key like the ones they use in the doors so it's not so easy to pick (if it was there would've been no point in adding it)

okay i will ul a few more pics from the outside with the doors closed and the beta sticker and i will also start the log of my other project aswell when my digicam finally gets enuf charge to take some nice photos

okay so if i feel like modding (hopefully i will) than after i sleep a good long one i'll make the final connectors between the psu and the pc xlr goes for the 4 pin molex lines and mobo atx connectors for the 20 lines

also the green lighting of the psu will be done (with green ub leds)

haha oh ok, i didnt look close enogh at the pic, my bad. But those simple drum locks are easy to pick also. A fewpaper clips will do the trick......i have dont my share of lock pickign in my day, im not to bad at it. I should get hired by the CIA to start another watergate.

well i am doing the big 20 pin connectors right now as we speak but without a crimping tool it's kind of a bitch to do :) oh yea and tell me where i can get lexan and some green cathodes here in hungary an i'll make an update right then :))

Also XLR connectors soldered only the sockets need to be cut and screwed into place

i am going to have some fun affixing the 20 pin connector to the back-panel of the case
