Case before, completely unmodified. it will recieve a piano black coat of paint, windows on side and top, and a few new blowholes



this thing will be recieving a new window on the side and top. 3 new blowholes will be cut (its goonna fly) all lights are gonna be green, except for the uv cathode for the mobo.

anyway, heres the window.




the purple is from the uv cathode, actually its a noce green glow coming out in real life

You could stand to clean those cuts up a bit. I pity tha foo who wears eye protection and masks. . Inside is really colorful, too colorful for me. And lastly, I wouldve made the window lots bigger. Same design, but lots bigger. Good luck with that thing.

just finished the top blowholes, pics arent up yet, but they will be after i get some more green fans and cut the top window

anyway got a few updates on this, nothing major.

i made a couple of blowholes on top of my computer, one with a dremel other with a 3 in holesaw, can you tell which is which??

i had to stop halfway thorough the project cause my dad said to.

i know they are supposed to be green, at this point i only had a couple of blue ones hangin around.

got one green one, waiting for local store to order more. you can also see the outline for my top window, it will eventually show off a cd rom window that i plan to cut.

i have also sleeved my wires

the cable ties are uv reactive, and green


shot without uv on, any hints as to how i could hide the "center Collumn of cables" would be appreciated, the spiral wrap is pretty stiff tho.

dont worry about the inverter at the bottom of the case, i have plans for that.

what do you plan on doing w/ the inverter? I am having trouble deciding what to do w/ mine myself. I havnt stuck it anywhere yet, but I dont want to just put it anywehre and have it looking like shit.

i have a box left over from the remote starter mod, about 2inx5inx1in big. i have two male molex connectors going into this little box (the same kind of cannectors for hdds and cdroms) one of these molexes is from a y splitter, the inverter is going to be wired in parallel to the fan controller via the y splitter, the other molex will take care of the leds for my case.

the box is bigger than the inverter, but i have placed it behind my hdd rack and you cant see it, plus there are fewer wires because i removed the pci switch plate for the ccfl.

i hope this is well explained.
