Here is my case. The project has been postponed for a number reasons, but I finally started it.

Image
a pic of the front panel. I plan to stealht the CD drive, and paint the floppy drive gray. There is also an Akasa Fan control pro there.

Image
An inside pic with flash on. tons of dust and wires.

Image
here's one with the green and UV cathodes turned on

I don't have a good enough picture with just the UV or Green cahtode on, so I'll just let them out. Let me know what you think. My camrea ran out of battery, so there is no pic of the window, but it's the antec premod window, so no big surprises.

im gonna agree with rutger. uberfugly right now. but its just being started.
however the most predominant thing in your case is the wires. and they are ugly. you must hide them.

Yep lots of moddin' to do. I just have to wait until get money. I bought some polycarbonate yesterday (got that almost for free), and I'm going to put the good old jigsaw into action during the weekend. I was planning to cut a window in the right side panel, maybe a circle or something. I think it would let light out nicely. My UV fan arrvied today, and I'm doing something about the cables today.

got the UV fan installed, and got some sleeved wires with lighted molexes. Also bought some heatshrink, that I'm going to use to sleeve the remaining power cables with. Anybody got experience on painting heatshrink? I was thinking about painting the heatshrinked cables with FLUO green to give some extra touch. Pictures will follow when I get my lazy ass to the store and bouy some batteries.

bad idea. The paint wont stick to itm if it happens to change size for any reason, the paint will just come right off. Especially if you move it in like a curve after its been painted.

Just buy a sleeving kit at xoxide.com for like $10.

well it's a good thing I didn't buy the paint yet. And I think xoxide doesn't ship to finland. too bad :( Any ideas what I should do with the PolyCarbonate? There's not enough to make a big window to the side, and I kinda like the stock window. I was thinking about a small circlular window in the right side panel, and maybe some leds to give it some touch. I'll post some pictures later today, Some improvement has been made (I hope).

just find a company that ships internationally and get your sleeving kit there.

You could always put that side pantl on the other side and use the full panel to make whatever you want on the "normal" side

If you do that, cut out some of the motherboard try so you can see under your board.
