I'm interested on seeing how the fader works. I did my own version with an Op-amp but yours should work too but it could have a bit faster charging cycle than the fade out cycle.

FINALLY! MY MOBO:
finally got my gigabyte mobo from UPS
it smells so new lmao
ok.. enough eye candy now to swap and rebuild

ok so i went ahead and started to build my mobo.. but didnt bother to fully read the manual.. -.- which was very important

i ran into power issue.. once i finished building my mobo i didnt factor in the fact i needed a power unit of 480watt MINIMUM... i went ahead and used my HP brand power unit of 220watt... BIG MISTAKE! ...

so now is needed is to swap out the powersupply unit.. what to get...

I KNOW!

Not bad powersupply.. great price, great review.. hmm connection is short... not a problem.. im using a mid tower ATX :) enough room for the lines to reach.. bought and another 2 weeks for the item to arrive.. mean time ill using the 220watt with windows7 x32 and a minimum of 1gig :( ... ohwell...

wire management... even though this is still 220watt powersupply i went ahead and did a wire management and tuck it away for a cleaner look and virtually for more air flow with out interruption
Image

well i have goten some help on the 555timer mod from a very awesome site called acidmod :) a modderator has designed me a very complcated, semiexpensive skemetic but its more reliable, and will work alot better then that of a 555timer,...the skemetic includes a counter and ofcourse a 555timer with verious resistor to do a liner fade... total cost for material is around $14 us ....to me that is a perty small cost :) if i can get this done...

more updates to come soon

i just saw your link.. i seen a preview of the other skemetic... the one on acidmod si more active with more desire of improving and making a KIT light system... i might use both your skemetics and his to advance the lighting

I also have been playing around with sound active system using an OPTIC chip... i will include that also in my system

thank you for the link
