 Post subject: Corrosion protection

Does the polishing agent wax preservative adequately protect against corrosion? Aluminium tends to haze real quick bare.

Many of polishes uses ammonia and ECP products don't so the effect will last longer. Also the curator's choice specs say the following:

"This product contains a combination of microfine abrasives, enhancers and pH neutral wax preservative. Ensures minimal material removal. In a museum type environment the finish may 5 years or more before repolishing is necessary."

I love that polished mirror look, looks awsome.........to bad it takes to long, it would take forever on a full tower.

I did it by hand. There are many powertools for polishing and sanding and you don't need to buy the most expensive models. Noticed some rotary polishing tools on a local hardware store with a price of 20 euros.

Wow, after my 6th coat of paint on my chrome box, and 3 of clear coat with some polish, this looks 10-100 times better, mine looks between pictures 2 and 3 and i've spent more money than what it would cost me

I painted my case chrome once and didnt clear coat it, and eveyr time oyu would tuch it you would get that like "chrome" powder on you.....it looked like crap after a while.
