Did I see you put the mains power transformer on top of the harddrive?
I know harddrives are pretty well shielded, but those little transformers give out a fairly strong magnetic field. Plus switch mode power supplies are usually quite noisey when it comes to EMI, hance they're usually packaged in metal boxes. I'd be interested to know if you experience any data loss/corruption with having the harddrive so close to the unshielded PSU.

Actually, in the image you'll see the coil/transformer located right next to hdd but in the text you can read that the coil was removed from the PSU completely.

All I have to say is marvelous, and stunning. I love your craftmanship in computer building. Its a true work of art =).

Must have been a bitch to create custom cooling and the alumium case. But it was probably all the most worth it.

I bet you're never going to upgrade huh, too hard to do it =P.

btw onko se aluminum vai aluminIum? Oon nähny kumpaaki versiota aika rutkasti :D

EDIT: sanakirja pelasti.

Sitten itse kotelosta. Aika hieno tuli vaikka laajennus vara jäikin pieneksi. Tämä tosin useinkin DIY puolella yleistä.

When designing switching powersupplies one important aspect is modes of failiure. You REALY don't want >300V rectified power in the case/motheboard when the mosfets break; the cooling-fins might provide this, as they are not usually accessible.

Using powersupplies without their cages is NOT GOOD. Otherwise, great looking case.
