I'm performing a similar mod using mx500, I opened the mouse and then something hit me ...

HOw the hell am I going to cut the plastic inside and the cover?

Can you help me with this? First of all suggest some tools I can find at home. If I need specific tools, tell what's needed pls.

Thanks!

Tanks. I think I'll go and pick up a dremel.

Do you think this is a good cross cut blade for plastic?

No, do not use those on plastics or to wood. As they do not "cut" but file away the material, plastic will just melt and wood will burn. That is why a carving head or that saw plade is needed when working with plastic.

Tuolla jyrsii. Eli leikkaa, hioo, poraa jne. En osta alkuperäisosia esim. dremeliltä. Tuollainen karbiittiterä pitäisi tulla mukana melkein minkä tahansa valmistajan pora/jyrsin paketin mukana. Ainakin itsellä on tullut kaikissa mitä olen ostanut.

Those comments were bit out of topic so I decided to not to translate but since you asked for it... :)

He wanted to know about that carbite bit, it is good for cutting circular holes, how much does it cost, do I use bits made by third party manufacturers etc...
