Ok one if I were to paint my mouse. Will the paint start to chip off over time or do I need to put some sort of finish on it. Because after a long time of abusing the mouse for a day and the heat and moisture build up thinking that the paint would wear off?

You should use clear coat (varnish) to shield the paint. There are some paints that are ment for harsh conditions and don't need that coating but usually people paint with the regular spray paints. You might want to smooth the mouse surface before painting and apply some primer. Paint will then stick better on the mouse.
