Hello all.

Cool Site!!!! :D. I have a question. I have taken a interest in this mouse fan and I was wondering how could I send warm air through the vent holes rather then cool air. Maybe a fan with small heaters, if there is such a thing. Any help is appreciated.

Chad

You could use peltier element to generate heat but you have to add additional wires going to your mouse because they need more power than 5 volts and 500mA that mouse can provide. I think that this is something that you have to do with every type of heaters.

You could find a way to use a ceramic tile to capture the heat from the air around it and blow that on your hand... it would be a lot cheaper, and would require a lot less energy to heat the air. Not sure if this would work for you, but it's worth a shot...

The fan is from my old TNT1 display adapter and the rubber pad is from somewhere ... don't remember where. It is just a basic rubber pad for stereo systems etc. so they don't slide on the table top etc. Should be able to find almost anywhere.
