Underneath my mouse there is a sticker. On the sticker it says "Rating 12v:::10mA".. How much power can i use from the mouse for a fan, or leds, and still be able to use my mouse? :)

What kind of mouse is it? Does it use serial, ps/2 or usb to connect to the computer? I would guess that it's a serial mouse, 'cause serial is the only port that can give around 12v.

The name is "A4 Tech" or something like that

USB-ports gives 5 volt and maximum of 500mA, but I wouldn't recommend going over 400mA.

Forgive me, but i dont quite understand.. Does this mean that my mouse only takes 10mA of theese 400mA(500mA)? So i have 390 to spare?

Does the multiple USB ports share the power?

What kind of led should i buy? Im sorry for my noobish questions, but im trying to learn :)

One USB-port can handle up to 500mA. If it's correct that the mouse only takes 10mA, then you should have 390mA left to use, like you said.

The size of the LED doesn't matter, just as long as they/it fits.
(5mm LEDs are most common and cheapest)
