I plan on giving it a nice shiny mirror black finish, lighting the rods, adding a VU meter and a HD activity meeter. Other than that its all up in the air as to what im doing. Hope you enjoy

BTY that is tape behind the rods to keep them in place.

yea, but i was thinking of covering the front between the 2 rods with tinted plexi and hiding everything. Then when it lights up you would see it, but when its off you cant see anything.

BTW if i could somehow get a water cooling kit to "REVIEW" it would be sweet. I wont be able to afford the kit till newar the end of summer if i do even get one, but with how my idea is comming along It would be real sweet......

I dont have any project name for it yet, but the main theme is goin to be UV inside with those acrylic rods used for drive cages and everything(still have another 6 foot stick). All other lights on the outside and stuff are going to be blue

i would suggest for ya to contact companies that make watercooling kits and talk to them about doing a review on some new product that they just finished developing but havent released to the public at all. who knows, it might work too.

how does this sound for an e-mail to contact companies for reviews?

Dear: company name

My name is Timothy Bracken and I am interested in your company to help me develop my own website based on product reviews. I currently review products and post the reviews on several forums, but since I have so few of companies to review for, my reviews are few and far between. I was hoping to broaden the companies that I affiliate with by adding new or unreleased products from your company. It will benefit your company by providing clear, accurate, and generally positive reviews of your products, thus persuading people to buy your products.

If you are interested in participating or have any other questions please contact me at tjb12@pitt.edu

Thank you
Timothy Bracken

Here are some pics of what I recently got done. I replaced the steal drive rails with acrylic rods and took out all the drive cages and put in 1/8'' acrylic.

BTW i came up with a project name for it. "Lighten up" for taking alot of weight out of the case and because im going ot be using a ton of leds in it. What do you guys think?

looks nice, but it'll be hard to make it look really original since it's a CS-601. but i'm sure u'll get some nice ideas. about the watercooling: why get a complete kit? create urself a CPU cooler, get a radiator (is it right? dunno...) from the junkyard and then u just have buy the pump and tubes, oh, and water

whats a CS 601? My case is an Antec, and I cut all the windows nad such out myself, no pre-mod.

im not exactly sure what im doing about the watercooling. If i get an internship then ill get a real nice watercooling kit. One thing I do need to do though is get all the junk for my power supply, like wire sleeving, window, colored molex connectors and such. The full mod will take some time.
