I REALLY want to make this mod.. but i am such a n00b so i have like no idea how....

like, the cables,... what cable in the keyboard is it that i should use to the LED's.. and how??

can someone post some pictures that explains step-by-step how to make my dream come true :D

It is so hard to say what wires to use because colors and the placement of the wires vary between different models and manufacturers. Best way to determine the right wires is to use multimeter or have a friend to find the for you.

the red wire should be +5V (around 500 mA) and the black one is ground. if youve got two black ones, its the thiner one. go to the "basic electricity" article to find out how to calculate how many ohms the resistor needs to be.

sorry, it actually might be 250 mA and it could be any of the wires. most likely, the green and white ones are the info. on mine, red is ground and yellow is 5V+.

is it realy so hard to understand?
you only need a cable, switch and 2 leds.
if you cant do this... I think its better if you stay with lego :wink:
