So, what do you think about this mod? Was it worth it? Are you going to do the same? :)

one word to say  omg

yeah it definitly worth it. the exterior psu is definitly nice with its made in support and the cable.

the rear fans could have been placed another way imo but still, this is one of the best mod i have seen.

keep up the good work.

humm just noticed. that mouse is one ugly mouse

K-raudasta tuota kulmalistaa täältä tampereelta löysin. Toi oli kyl tommonen suht iso rautakauppa (rauta-otra), ei varmaan pienemmistä ihan heti löydy. semmosia rautakauppoja kannattaa katella missä on ulkopihalla tms metritavarana kaikenlaista putkea ja tankoa.

I must say that when I first looked at the project (from the first few pages I was very sceptical). I didn't like the sheet metal and the compact computer with the LCD. (im not a mac fan). I also thought the external psu was horribly ugly.

But once I got to the finish, I was in awe. It is prefection in the external design. The external PSU was actually sick looking, and it proved to be quite effective.

Overall an easy 9of10. From the view of a seasoned case modder :D

Terveisin: Quicki

something you might try for your next mod using plexi washers that my dad tought me.

get a carrage bolt that has the hole size your going to use(im meaning the smooth shaft to fit in the washer hole) and cut off the bolt head, pinch it down or flatten it slightly with vice or hammer, something to give it a gripped edge. then put that end in a cordless drill. tighten a nut and washer on the end of the plexi washer stack and there you go... it moves for you.

now the only problem is you have to try and cut them down to a size close to your desired size. I was making somewhere close to 500 of those for a project one time and just decided to make them with a 1" washer inbetween every 8 and just used a 10 foot roll of very rough sand papper for a belt sander. cut it into peices and hold it on the with a glove on.

oh.. but even though it probably wasnt ment to be like that. I agree it really looks awsome from the back. which in an open table lan event, thats kinda nice to show off.

5/5 stars from the wichita,KS moddin community
