(posted it in wrong section could admin change?pls) :)
So Im planning to do this kinda of mod. The video cards fan is dying and I bouth this some processor cooler for 3€. So any suggestions what would I do? Would I drill holes in cooler and clip it same way as the old one? or would only thermal glease be enought to hold it?

My first suggestion is that you upload smaller pictures.. 640x480 should be sufficient.

Your new heat sink should hold if you use thermal adhesive instead of thermal compound.

Does that thing really need a fan on it?
Anyway, I would not rely on thermal adhesive to hold that massive heat sink.

well just drill those holes and you got 100% sure contact, how much time drilling 4 holes can take? :)

Nahh im not doing that only for sink and its actually 2 holes.. i could even use the old clips? :o

I was thinking should I lap the heatsink bottom of it cos its painted "aluminium"? obiously?
What paste should I buy from verkkokauppas :S

The cheapest. Not like the paste would make any difference if you aren't overclocking it to the maxx.

You don't need to lap the edge of, if your GPU is smaller than the edge. Just lap it so it's straight.
