It seems that I've been forgetting to update the news. Well, the latest review of the Patriot's Warp v2 SSD unit should be a good reason to make a new post.

Good review. I would like to have SSD, but the prices. In my point it's not worth to buy SSD, becoase the regular HDD's are ok for me.

Nice review, thanks!

Seems like my WD Raptor will get its well earned retirement soon.
Does anyone have an idea on what might be the best SSD drive looking at price/performance?
What I'd need is a minimum of 2x60Gb to run in Raid0 as a system drive.

So your looking at a 2x64GB array? Well the prices vary alot... But I'd really be careful when choosing the drives, as some of the drives really don't shine in writing nor reading for that matter. The latencies are minimal however. The new 1TB drives are really getting some nice results in the benchmarks, even beating the raptors in some tests.

Yeah that's what I'd want, but I just had a look at some other reviews of SSD:s and I think the performance/price ratio is not quite there yet.
So I'm gonna stick to my raptor for now.
