Adding an antenna

So the Talkman came to me without the original antenna. I was able to find a replacement but it had a different connector to it. With some heavy tools I was able to pull out the old connector and got to work combining the two connectors.

To be able to mount the new connector in properly I decided to cut the old one in half. I then removed the insides from the both connectors and joined the old bottom part and the new top part together with a bolt.

And here we have it. The antenna is not functional any more but for this built it doens't need to be.
