Cooling the Beast
As I've mentioned earlier, I chose to use watercooling in this project. So here are some pictures of the cooling hardware that I used.
A HWLabs Stealth GT 240 radiator, EK Wave AM2 Acetal cpu-block and a pair of Aerocool fans.
Here's the pump I chose for the task, a Laing DDC-1Plus pump with a replacement top from Petra's Tech shop.
Here you can see how much room I actually had over the CPU area. The power supply actually ended up hitting the corner-fittings on the cpu-block.
Routing out the watercooling system really could've been easier. The space I was dealing with really didn't allow me to build the most efficient cooling-loop.
Despite the problems that my tight design caused, I managed to finish the coolingloop just in time. This picture was taken 2 nights before Assembly 07 started, so I really didn't have that much time to play with.
