In the end I'm fairly pleased with the case. I accomplished just about every goal I had set for the project. The case is small, considering it has ATX-components in it. It's 156 mm wide excluding the sidepods, 334 mm high, and 380 mm deep. Furthermore it's unique, it's upgradeable, and most importantly, I like it! Finally it's done and I can start something new...

Japala's Note:

I think that this is a perfect example on how one can build a high quality aluminum case with basically a hacksaw and a file. Case modding these days have evolved to something that looks really great but is starting to be too difficult to replicate for a novice modder. And in many cases the process calls for off-site laser cutting, chroming etc. that brings the costs up.

Hopefully we will be able to post this kinds of modding articles in the future too. I personally feel that we have a lot to explore and experience even with these more basic modding methods.

And do join us in for more user submitted modding projects!
