GPU Cooler

I have already used this method of cooling the gpu in Aluminum Spire and though the copperplate with aluminum fins looks horrid, it works well, actually even better than the noisy whining stock cooler.



Copper, copper, more copper.

Here is the copper piece with the graphics card (GF 6600gt AGP) for size comparison. I had to cut a notch on the side for a capacitor to make it fit.



Gluing..


Here the same copperpiece is cooling the PCI-e GF 6800gt. I only needed to drill a couple of holes to make it fit on the second geForce. There is an aluminum holder locking the copper cooler in place. Without this, the weight of the cooler would surely break the graphics card.
