SuomeksiOverclocking - HD 6850
For overclocking we used the Catalyst Control Center, where the GPU clock adjustment maxes out at 850 MHz. The memories worked fine at 1105 MHz, which gives us improvements of 75 MHz on the GPU and 105 MHz on the memories over the stock speeds. With some other overclocking software, higher voltages and higher fan speed the GPU will most likely clock much further than this.
Overclocking - HD 6870
The HD6870 had similar headroom in terms of overclocking, with the GPU working fine at 970 MHz and memories at the same 1105 MHz as in the HD6850.
