Fusion Remote Max

Despite the new dimensions, the overall look of the case is pretty close to the one of original Fusion. The elements that have remained the same are the LCD-screen, the large volume knob and the stealth panel for the DVD-drive.
The side panels have large ventilation holes, on the left panel you can see a 120 mm hole for the power supply and on the right panel there's a 140 mm exhaust fan. Also on the roof there's a ventilation hole to let hot air escape from around the graphic card. Alltogether the Fusion Remote Max seems to be very ventilated and keeping in mind it supports full ATX motherboards and large graphic cards, it should also be suitable for more powerful gaming setups.

Despite the similarities, there are also some new details on the front panel. This time around Antec has decided to hide the front panel connectors and power button under a long, shiny door on the lower section of the front panel. Beside the connections there are also acccess to the very cleverly designed dust filters that pop open through the front panel. The front panel controls include a large volume knob, power and reset buttons and also the front panel connectors including two USBs, Firewire, e-sata and audio connectors.

On the rear there are no surprises. Starting from the left there are two fan controllers, a 120 mm exhaust fan, the normal I/O shield and 7 PCI-slots and on the far right a hole for a standard ATX power supply. The top is held in place with just a single thumb screw and is very easy to remove.

On the bottom there are feet similar to the original Fusion, two nice looking .Hi-Fi.-feet on the fromt and two soft silicone feet on the back. There are also two large ventilation areas for the two separate sections inside the case. The one on the left is for the HDD/PSU area and the one in the middle is for second set of HDDs as well as the motherboard area.
