Ulti-mat Breathe F-X3

The Ulti-Mat Breathe F-X3 was revealed at the ASM09 Summer event and we were lucky enough to get one to review right away. The F-X3 continues on with the Breathe series, as it is a fabric-mousepad. The size is large enough to cover a small table so it should be enough for any user.

• Price: ~14 €

Our take on the mousepad

PROS 

• The surface is nicer to the hand than with the Ulti-Mat Solid X3 and the Steelseries S&S.
• A smaller versions are available if the large size poses any problems.
• Affordable price.
• Large surface-area so low-sense gamers shouldn't have any problems with the pad running out.


CONS 

• A bit on the thick side when compared with the hard-plastic contestants.
• One reviewer had problems with his mouse skipping while gaming on this mousepad for some reason.
• The surface has a bit more traction than the plastic pads, but the differences are not that big.
• The fabric surface is more susceptible to dirt and wear than the hard plastic versions. Which means that the pad requires more care.
