Ulti-mat Solid X3

The Ulti-mat Solid X3 is a harder plastic mousepad that has a smooth plastic finish. While the surface of the pad is hard plastic, the pad is still fairly flexible and comparable with a fabric pad. It was bit sad to find out that the surface scratched really easily and the top layer received kinks easily whilst in transport.

Our take on the mousepad

PROS 

• Thin which means it is comfortable to use.
• The accuracy as well is comparable with the S&S.
• The large-area allows for some large movements for low-sense gamers.
• The bottom of the pad is sticky enough so it will stay in its place, even in the toughest situations.


CONS 

• The only available size with this surface from Ulti-mat.
• The highest price of all the pads in the roundup.
• The S&S has a bit more traction, but while gaming the difference is neglible.
• Susceptible to kinking.
• Scratches really easily.
