Carbide Series 300R

At first glance the 300R looks quite subtle and stylish. Gone are the "look at me"-shapes of the 400R, instead the side panels are flat and the plastic front panel mostly covered in ventilation mesh.
Sides

On the side panel there are two mounting holes for either 120- or 140 mm fans. These are excellently positioned to help with the GPU-cooling, but unfortunately don't have dust filters. The sides of the front bezel are also cut full of holes to help with the intake fan airflow.
The right side panel is just a flat piece of sheet metal.
Front

Starting from the top the front panel has the power- and reset switches, power- and HDD-leds, audio jacks for headphones and microphone and finally two USB3-ports. Underneath are the three external 5,25" drive bays and finally plenty of mesh. The front bezel can be removed by simply pulling and doing so reveals the mounting holes for two 120/140 mm fans. Behind the metal mesh there's also a finer plastic mesh to act as a dust filter, but the filter can't easily be removed, so you'll always need to remove the entire bezel. The fake-hex socket screws look a bit out of place on the otherwise clean looking panel.
