The subwoofer of the SP2500 kit is quite massive, definitely in a whole another league compared to the SP2200's. On the back side there are two aluminum plates, with one covering the power supply components and one for the audio amplifiers and inputs.
The connectivity here is the D-sub connector for the controller, two 4-pin connectors for the satellite speakers, 3,5 mm plug for AUX1 and 2*RCA for Line In.
Controller
The controller is a small unit with four buttons, a wheel and a 1,8" color screen. There's also a headphone connector at the bottom corner and in the bundle there are three velcro stickers for mounting the controller.
On the controller there's the power button, one button for volume, one for settings and one for the subwoofer volume. The default view is volume, which can be adjusted and muted by turning and pressing the round controller. The middle button opens the settings and over here there are various programs and EQ-settings, as well as settings for the input, color, language and backlight. Finally the button on the right lets you adjust the subwoofer volume or mute it by pressing the wheel.
