Benchmarks - 3DMark06

The first test in our suite was the 3dmark06, and right off the bat the GT220 is the slowest card we've yet tested on the current test setup. That said, it marginally wins the last generation Ati HD4670 in the SM2-tests. With the overclocking the GT220 even managed to score better than the HD4670. In fact the result rose by 902 points, which is a rather remarkable boost of 12%.
3DMark Vantage 1.0.1 / Performance

3dmark Vantage shows more of the same, still the slowest card of the lot, but not by much.
Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare

With the Call of Duty 4 being the least demanding game of our usual tests, and even that one returning such low frame rates, it didn't make much sense to push on with our usual array of game testing.

For real-life testing we used the ever-so-popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This is a couple of years old game that's known to run smoothly even on a bit lesser setups, and indeed we were able to get playable FPS at 1280x1024 resolution. This required dropping the AA to 0, but other than that the graphical quality settings were maxed out. In average FPS the gain was 6 FPS or 13%.
